MA Narrative Environments alumni and Hungarian designer Anna Horváth (AHA Objects) exhibited her latest collection of objects with Initio Fine Arts at Cromwell Place, in October.

Anna’s strictly geometric, yet refreshingly playful works were showcased alongside the French architect and designer, Reda Amalou’s (RAD) elegant and organic creations.

Through the exploration of contrasting materials and forms, this unprecedented combination will create a dialogue between two distinct design aesthetics.

Anna is currently working on Sorġi (image below), a contemporary outdoor furniture collection made of construction waste designed specifically for Malta’s public spaces. The project aims to create conversations about sustainability and the changing architectural landscape. The six piece collection is supported by the Malta Arts Fund and will be executed throughout 2020 -2021.
