Winter Willoughby is a recent Yale graduate from New York City, inspired by the intersection of art, psychology, and technology.

She works as a multimedia designer and experience engineer while pursuing her masters in Narrative Environments at Central Saint Martins. She is curious about what makes a space meaningful — whether digital, virtual, or physical— and how its interactions are impactful and memorable. During the time of the pandemic, she hopes to find a way to bridge the digital and physical worlds by innovating hybrid experiences.

In her immersive work, she explores empathic capacity and emotional impact across narrative, interaction, and space. Her digital design background provides her with a foundation in designing human-centered and driven experiences. Professionally, she is interested in creative technology and experiential design.

Her art studio and brand, R.M.17, reworks vintage art into a modern context, providing social commentary on her generation in the age of social media and principles of relational aesthetics. Her studio has collaborated with Italian streetwear brands and held retail pop-ups in the Hamptons and SoHo.
