Based in London with a global perspective, Jessica has over eight years of experience as a marketing, events and communications professional. Jessica has a background in Psychology and aspires to take part in projects within the realm of human-centered research and socially-engaged design.

Throughout her career she has worked on and lead various projects within the travel, entertainment, sport and fashion sectors. In her role as Director of Corporate Communications & Events at WPP agency Spafax, she had the opportunity to provide strategic, creative and logistical leadership on over a dozen B2B exhibitions and has managed a handful of speciality events for Spafax’s airline clients including film screenings and a private art viewing at the V&A for British Airways’ frequent fliers.

In 2014, Jessica was part of the digital team at the Canadian Olympic Committee throughout the Sochi Olympics where she and a team of editors had the opportunity to engage Team Canada fans across social platforms. With a strong track record in editorial, she understands how to write in different styles to fit specific cultural voices and narratives.

By taking part in the MANE program, Jessica aspires to learn how to apply narrative creatively within a space to elicit strong emotional and intellectual interactions with users and increase awareness around wellbeing and social justice.
