Amelia is a London based architect. Amelia completed her bachelor’s in science of Architecture at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) in Switzerland. Her final year project, a pop-up art gallery, being built on campus of the University of Lausanne. In 2016 Amelia started working for L-architectes in Lausanne. Whilst working at L-architectes in Switzerland, Amelia helped co-found a music and art collective with friends named Zünd Kollektiv. They challenged the conventional use of public spaces and opened new platforms for emerging local artists to showcase their talent. After which she moved to Cuba to work with INFRA studio with conceptual artist Wilfredo Prieto. Working with the Havana team to create the necessary infrastructure for the future piece being showed at the Biennale. This multidisciplinary hands on approach to project is what inspired Amelia to pursue a Master in Narrative Environments at CSM.
