30 umbrellas tell the stories of the city and the changing fashions in Hangzhou. Visitors to the Hangzhou exhibition centre will be able to take away umbrellas. The designers will take photos from the top of the exhibition centre every 20 minutes documenting the spread of the umbrellas. The images will be downloaded to the computer building a map of the city created by visitors movements. Every visitor will be able to see the new map he/she created.
